Any recommendations? I need something with about a gig of storage and multiple domains plus php, mysql etc. I'm getting sick of 1and1.com as it's slow as hell and pop mail is constantly screwed. Might also consider getting a resellers account.

I really appreciate your generosity but that would be wrong of me : )

I need about 1gb of storage and maybe 10gb of transfers as well as 6 or so domains. Not exactly sure for storage and transfers but I do want to host multiple sites with one of them being business related (video production team) with a few partners and another hosting my guitar and music instruction site which will probably use quite a bit of bandwidth and storage in the future.

I can give you that much, maybe a little more, you wouldn't have to pay, I have about 20 gigs on my VPS and 150 gigs of bandwith, so it should be no sweat, but maybe you could give me like 5 bucks a month to help pay for the VPS :)

Telnap was it?

yup

I would give him a  but I asked him to turn on Python support and he still has not given me an answer yet as to yes or no. :| that was a week ago.

It could be worse. I asked him for a quote in december and he only responded this month after I bugged him:)

Sorry guys :(

I get too many emails so I miss a few, and my pm box is over the limit by about a 100 now.

If you want a response regarding webhosting please use the helpdesk on the site so that either me or a staff member of mine can help you, my personal email account shouldn't be used for webhosting.

Not that I'm not happy with Telnap, fast service, reliable connection, great price. I have no grounds to stand on either since Python support was not included in the package I bought in the first place. If anything, I would pick telnap/devious again.

edit:  used the contact form on the website, response in half an hour.

I would take a look at SonataWeb.net or Idologic.com

Do you have any domains you aren't currently using? Login to your domain registrar's web site and change your DNS name servers to:
ns1.hotdealsaddict.com
ns2.hotdealsaddict.com

I'll set you up with a free cPanel with Fantastico web hosting account (hosted on my SonataWeb account) so you can test everything out including speed, etc.

Please PM me with your domain and it should be working and online in a few hours.

My current site is http://www.maggotcontrol.com

While file transfers once initiated is very fast, the initial responce time after clicking on it or loading the site itself is unacceptable to me. I don't know if this has to do with DNS resolution or simply bogged down servers but I like my sites to 'snap' immediately into place. I don't care if people can download at 2mbps but I want faster responce times.

RossMan, that would be cool but IF my problem resides in domain name resolution speed, it probably wouldn't make a difference if I forwarded my domain name to your name servers since the registrant (1and1.com) is slow. Am I right in making that assumption?
