So in other words all of those prophecies that they picked out of the bible came true without fail....well that's because they picked and chose the ones THEY wanted.

I did this once as well, pretty funny.

BTW, what are those weird pages you often get when you misspell a common website. You usually get them if you misspell by one letter, and it's a list of links that are kind of related to the page you were trying to get to.

...and of course I can't find an example of one.

They make money from the ads. Their costs are basically nothing, with the right domain they can get lots of impressions, and some people will even click on the ads. There are a number of companies that do this. I hate them all.

?? I can't open a new tab with RMB. What browser are you using?

Opera supports this (and many other mouse gestures) natively, and has for years.

It's the fastest way to navigate. click in the address bar and put in the first few letters of the URL, press the down arrow to select the autocomplete and hit enter. It takes me less than a second to point my browser to a common website.

What do you do? Browse through favorite folders?

Click on address bar, Opera pops up the "Start bar" that I've placed about a dozen links on, and I click on one. Or open a new tab, click on one of the gigantic Speed Dial buttons. Or click on the address bar, type the nickname of one of my bookmarks, hit enter (also by far the best way to do web searches). Firefox has duplicated at least 2 of these features.

I always find it hilarious that people would use a system like yours, honestly. All of these "type these characters that may have some relation to the site name, hit down x times (where x depends on the specific URL), hope you haven't visited any other sites with similar URLs, hope some other page on the same domain doesn't come up first" contortions are so unnecessary.

If you really want to type things, use the nickname feature (Firefox calls them keywords) and be done with it. The nicknames can be whatever you want and never, ever change.

Oh, so you're one of those people.

Yes, and you're one of those people.

One of the literate ones, who have a functional short term memory, can remember a few letters, and don't need giant shiny old people emergency phone buttons to navigate the web?
Yes, one of THOSE people.

Many moons ago when I had kids in diapers, I tried to go to the Huggies website, but accidently typed it hubbies. While it still involved diapers, I REALLY didn't want to see that.

Another hilarious typo I know of is when a friend of mine asked me what website I used to look up weather forecasts. I told him Weather Underground, so he tried that. Only he was at work and he left off the W in wunderground.com WHOOPS. At the time, it was apparently some kind of porn site.

LOL - I figured hubbies.com would be dirty. I didn't go to it - but I'd believe it's something that I don't want to see.

Let's prove the Bible is true and we are nearing the end of the last generation before Christ returns.

....

D. People would be disobeying their parents-2 Tim 3:1,2.

well, I'm convinced.
