I kept putting off getting a vday gift for someone. I really figured I would get it wednesday morning, since I'm working night shift this week. Well, my procrastination backfired as we are now in the middle of a blizzard and there is no driving allowed on any roads in the county (besides emergency vehicles).

any ideas?

there would be a slight problem with that, too. I have maybe a half gallon of milk and some leftover pizza in the fridge, and some chips in the pantry......

Tell her she's so special that any gift you could possibly buy would be unworthy of her love. Of course you know that's a load of bullshit, but she won't. If she gets mad, you get more mad in return, then she will apologize, then sex will ensue.

I'm in the same boat. My g/f gave me my vt pres a day early! I havent even come up with hers. I just called to ask for an extension.

Tell her the blizzard ruined your plans. You had reservations at some fancy restaurant, but you cant make it cause of the blizzard...tell her you had it all set up so a beautiful bouquet of flowers would be waiting for her at the restaurant... Enjoy the sweet action (freak that b****, tone!)
When the storm clears, and she expects you to take her to that fancy dinner and get her those nice flowers, call her an unappreciative w****

Works everytime. Though I know by proxy...I actually make a point to purchase two weeks ahead of time and give vague clues every day up until the day of the present. For christmas one year I got My now ex fiance her engagement ring. I had a custom christmas ball made and hung the ring inside. It sat on the tree for three weeks and she never noticed it until given.
