Zanejohnson posts are almost as entertaining as CasioTech's ramblings.

Yeah, nice way to spend time other than doing drugs, but your car is no faster than before and now you have crappy filtration.

WIN!?

haha.. wow guys. what he did is make a cold air induction, which will feed colder, denser air into the intake and make a little more horse and increase his mileage a little bit. i know plenty of guys that have done this with similar materials, though usually on trucks.

yep, it's a ghetto cold air induction kit, that's all i claim it to be.... before this i had a crappy autozone short ram intake with a K&N filter....just sucking hot engine bay air... i can tell a difference..especially on the highway, has more passing power in 5th, dont have to downshift as much anymore to get going...

here's my vid from 0-60.... vid is really dark, my cam sucks at at night...

it's a crappy .mov file as well....install quicktime alternative if you hate quicktime as much as i do...

i launch at 22 seconds into the vid, and get off at ~28 seconds, and i hit 60 right at the end of second gear at redline...

oh and to whoever said something about exhaust helping, the car has a test pipe (straight through, no cats, no mufflers) dumped behind the rear axle....

it's a 98' Accord Coupe with an H22A swap (Prelude moter)

Im quite sure this is not true. The effect occurs at 30mph.

Sweet.
While home made improvements on one's vehicle make it a HOT ROD by definition, I wouldn't say THAT too loud in a crowd! LOL

I'm going to do the same thing to the Focus whenthe weather lets up. Found a project on FOCUSHACKS.com that is similar. I've already ripped off the resonator box. Getting my bits and pieces together beforeI go for it.

Cheapness RULZ !1!

like i said before, it actually did make a difference, mostly at higher speeds ~60mph and above, but i mean, colder, denser air = better combustion, ALWAYS. so yeah, it's a decent mod, and cheap mod. and if you dont have emmisions testing like we dont where i live, punch out your cats, and free up your exhaust, and you'll make a pretty decent power difference for almost free.... and all it can do is help with gas mileage.

ouch, well i guess the exhaust freebies are out of the question.... ah well, the intake mods will still be worth it.

I'm beginning to think that zane is just a made up person by another forum member, trolling for the lulz.
