I have a week of the reception battalion (in processing) and 9 weeks of boot camp

Did you do a cycle or two of anabolic steroids before you start basic? Apparently it gives you the competitive edge you need according to a Marine I met last fall who went through basic.

Army SMP, its rotc and the reserves while i finish out my last 2 years of college.

My ultimate goal is Special Forces after Ranger school.

Always wanted to join the Army, but I cant unfortunately with Diabetes.

Ft. Sill that is were I went for Basic and AIT. For me (13-B Field Artillery) Basic and AIT were combined into one long program with the same Drill Sergeants the whole time. It really sucked.

Plus we got stuck out on our final road march and a nasty storm came up that resulted in a few tornadoes very close to us. We were in the middle of BFE so we just had to huddle in the ditch and wait for about an hour for the storm to pass. Then march the remaining 5 or so miles soaking wet. ... that was probably the worst moment of the entire time.
