So I know Best Buy is teh Evil, but...

Got a $25 and a $30 for xmass, what would be a good Buy there? I breezed through the other day and most of thier computer stuff was overpriced, should I wait for a sale? What about DVD's?

My next purchase will probably be a new CDR/W drive, since my current one is dying.

Any ideas? Or am I stuck getting a bad price no matter what?

I want this camera case... because all my camera stuff would fit perfectly in it... but there is no way in hell I would pay $70 for as much plastic and crap as is in a $10 CD case.

What a coincidence. I too got two BB gift cards, $25 and $30.

I don't shop there much at all, but I do find good deals on occasion. I like to just browse their website for deals as that often shows the sales right away, so you don't waste your time going to the store. Just last week I got a present for my wife at BB. It was The Sims 2, on sale for $10 off and $10 off any other game purchase. I ordered The Sims 2 and a $10 game online and when to pick them up. The second game was no longer in stock, so I got an upgrade to a free $20 game instead. The deal ended up being quite nice. $5 less than any other store for The Sims 2 and a free $20 game.

I'm waiting for another similar deal to spend my gift cards. Doom 3 is $20 off today. Not sure if that is a good deal as I haven't searched around for prices on it.
