Hey all,

I was running downstairs to get something, and I had a spare box I've been working on that was on the floor. The USB mouse cord was across the room and I tripped over it and took the mouse out, which yanked the prong inside the usb port out of the computer and dented up the usb connector pretty badly. I'm somewhat glad the computer wasn't on...

Do you think this will be bad if I start it up soon?

Anyways... I'm going to go wallow in shame and continue feeling like a total dork... :(

You might be ok, just check that no metal contacts in the USB ports are touching one another... Keep in mind that USB ports DO transfer electicity, so contact would generally be a bad thing here ;). I'd check that first, then fire it up with one hand on the power cord ready to yank at the first sign of a spark. If nothing happens you should be good. (minus 1-2 USB ports of course hehe.)
