wow, what rocking good movie that was.

So I have a question. When Peter parker acquired his powers, exactly what did he acquire besides the spider characteristics?

It seemed that he got super strength, and also 20/20 vision. So exactly why? I thought he only got spider characteristics.

also, at the point where he wanted to quit, he started wearing his glasses....but then, when MJ got taken by OC, he gained his 20/20 vision again. what gives??


so does he control it? or what

he regained his spider powers when mj got taken.

the super strength is a spider power. spiders can lift many times their own weight
 
For your second point - he was there to tell MJ he couldn't be the man she wanted him to be, b/c he had a responsibility. It was then after she got taken that he truly realized that.

For the first - his physical abilities were improved - muscles, etc.

he was facing internal psychological conflicts within himself.

he got his powers back once he WANTED to be spiderman again.

He was losing his powers when he wasn't sure if he wanted to be spiderman or not
 
He obviously had a choice of weather or not he wanted to be his poor eye sight geek a** self or spider man.

If you look at the way it all happened, he started changing into the geek the more and more he hated being spiderman. When he became a full blown geek he started changing into spider man the more and more he realized being a geek sucks ballz.

In the scene where Spiderman is taking the elevator down, and he's talking to the guy, his mouth/jaw doesn't move... how does one talk without movement of the mouth and jaw? 😕

yah it was a good movie. a lot of people didn't like it though. i don't understand, the movie did everything i would have wanted it to do...so what if the villain was a bit "soft", it's a comic book.

yes! this is the retard part of the movie. he got bit by the spider and then he can choose to be spiderman or not.

spiders (Syringer!) have eight eyes and Peter, being human, has only two. so in order for him to gain all the powers of the spider (Syringer!) each of his eyes becomes four times as powerful.

I'm starting to like the second one less. It was a great movie, and at one time I thought "best superhero movie ever", but now I'm not so sure.

When I watched it on DVD parts of the movie really started to drag.

Even with the "slow" parts I still like it better than the first.
