I've been playing the game for roughly an hour or two. I really like it, its alot of fun, but I have some questions because some things arnt clear to me.

- When can I purchase parts from my garage? I can purchase parts and upgrades from the stores around town, but not there?

- The other part of town just opened up (I forget the name of the town, but it starts with a "B"). I havent even become familiar with the part of town I started in, WTF? Does this keep happening throughout the game?

- What dictates your rep points rewards at the end of a race? I know it has something to do with the look of your car. I decided to race in the new part of town that unlocked. I lost the first race, restarted it and won, but instead of the usually 300 rep points, I got 0. Anyone know why?

- Where is the nude patch for Rachel? :p

1. What a silly question. Your garage is where you tune your car, not where you buy parts. Of course you can't buy parts in your own garage...

2. It takes longer and longer to open new parts of town, as each stage is progressively bigger. Use the map often. I would even suggest getting the guide, as it has a huge map with it plus a lot of useful info.

3. Rep points are determined by how well you beat the other guys. If you win by 1 second, you may get 100 points or even no points. Beat them by 15 seconds and you'll be getting 300 points. The higher your average points are for a stage, the more choices for sponsors you will have in the next stage.

4. Grow up.

Yes, Malak, you're right....what a silly question. Look at the three pics below:

Picture 1

Picture 2

Picture 3

...all of those were taken from when you're in the garage. It looks exactly like the menu when you purchase parts, so I thought it was the same. But, it didnt really make sense, ehnce the question.

Also, I was kidding about the nude patch, but apparently you dont ahve a sense of humor. Thansk anyways though.

I just started playing the game myself, but I've already unlocked most of everything cept the nice parts (I'm on stage 2 stuff)

here's a map which could help you out an awful lot http://pics.bbzzdd.com/users/c...rspeedunderground2.jpg

as for the points, not really sure, I never really get past 300, and you will get 0 if you re-race.. I dunno.. something about losing the first time does that to your reputation :p

1. The garage part selection is for parts you already own. Say you have a car and you buy something for it. You buy a second car and want that part in your second car now.. So you return the first car to stock. Then the part you own is in your garage and you can put it in car two.

2. There are I think 4 sections of town to open up. The first part, then the Hills, and then two sections to the industrial part. Races keep appearing in all parts of town. Also, make sure you find the shops in each new part of town, that will unlock better part upgrades for your car.

3. As said above, rep points are based on how well you win the race. If you just barely win, no points. If you are well ahead of the competition, then you get 100, 200, or 300 points.

4. If you find it, let me know ;)

warcrow,

That's going to be my next buy! I really liked the whole NFS series right up through NFSU. One thing that pissed me off about it, though, was that it doesn't have a LAN play feature; you have to play through their servers. In NFS Hot Pursuit 2 you could set up your own server, which was really cool; that game's biggest flaw was lack of tracks, though. Is there a LAN-play feature in NFSU2?

Edit: Oh, and I'll gladly contribute to an Enema-of-the-Month club subscription for malak.

Guess it's just me, but I liked the first NFS Underground much better than the sequel. There is LAN play in NFSU2.
