...were murdered in my town about nine or ten blocks from my house. I had been watching the news on and off and was aware that two girls had been murdered but then one of the newscasters said something about an update from Zion and I was like, "WTF?" I can't believe that something happened this close to me. All of the freakin' news vans are taking up the road near the school where they were murdered.

This is one of the worst things that has ever happened anywhere near where I live. Kind of scary.

Yipes... how big a town is that? It's likely that you've been in contact with the killer at one point or another. Spooky

I know how you feel. Our town (Montgomery IL) isnt that huge when it comes to crime. When I was in high school, a student was murdered by her aunt, who committed suicide right afterwards. She was in one of my classes. It was the first murder in like 30 years. Messed up.

i know how you feel. i live in the dc metro area and that whole sniper thing happened around my county (montgomery county), not to mention that the taxi driver that was killed was a friends father :(.

it was a scary time.

Some kid stabbed him Mom 110 times just a little way from me and right about across the street from my uncle. It can happen anywhere.

amazing isnt it!!! I dont know if it has been like this for a long time and the media is just covering them more now... or if there is really a huge spate of brutal child killing this past year.

it is heart breaking.
