Goodness. This stuff is good.
I don't know if my first experience was with tainted suds, but I was always under the impression that Guinness was an awful-tasting black sludge.

Apparently not so.
It's creamy, smooth, not too fizzy, and made my work headache go away.

This pint of guinness gets 5000 grasshopper points.

That's a good price.

Right around a year ago, as school was nearing an end, a few buddies and I obtained a keg of Guinness. Oh, man, keg Guinness is so good...

Never drink the shiot in the bottles or cans.

And don't settle for just any Guinness from the tap..try different bars and pubs and find a place that serves a respectable pint in your town. The bartender should shape the top of the head into a clover, and it should only be slightly bitter.

Do yourself a favor and get yourself to Dublin or the British isles and have some Guinness Extra Cold:)

My wife and I are going to be in Dublin for a week in June. My wife's only request is to stop in and have a pint at the Guinness Brewery on her birthday.

Oh god the humanity!

That's not entirely true. Keg Guiness is quite different from the stuff in bottles or cans, but don't dismiss the cans. The bottles are instantly forgettable, but Guiness is using cans with a nitrogen capsule inside. The capsule releases the gas into the beer when the can is opened, creating a very tap-like head. It's not exactly the same as the true draft stuff, but it's pretty damn close and is far superior to any other canned beer on earth. Always keep a 4 pack on hand for the times when you need a Guiness and can't get to the pub.

Bottles have the capsules now, too.
