No, these have CD on one side, DVD on the other. Maybe I'll pull my Plextor 40TSI out of retirement to see how it treats them.

And to the OP, you = retard, as well. I have the Crossfade "Crossfade" Dual-Disc and it works fine. Could it be perhaps that you shouldn't be on a computer, or simply that your speakers and/or DVD drive just suck ass?
EDIT: Oh yeah, try flipping the disc over sherlock?

So have any of you that have these dual-discs been able to play the cd side in a computer? The dvd side plays fine, but the cd side goes unrecognized....

I got the NIN Dual Disc and I was able to rip the CD side to FLAC using my laptop cd/dvd drive. It also played the DVD side fine, but I don't know if it is DVD-Audio or just 5.1 mix (what's the difference anyway?)
Now I need to figure out how to rip the 5.1 DVD side to my computer. :music:![]()

Notice how most new CDs being released don't featured the "CD-ROM" logo? That's because they don't meet the book standards for compact discs. If you haven't already, it's definitely time to start boycotting these idiotic record companies.
If you want to support a band, go to their shows. Most artists only get between 5-10% of record sales. The RIAA is able to do this because they control radio & tv - sign with them or nobody will hear your stuff. I buy CDs as well, but to have a lossless backup copy of my music, not because I think most bands give a crap. However, I haven't bought anything in a while, and if they've recently started trying to implement illegal copy protection, I'll have to stop buying them.Originally posted by: Dedpuhl

I may not agree with the inflated prices, but I like to support the bands I enjoy.
