So I just got some free Mac hardware

Alrighty well my boss came in here today and told me we're getting rid of all the Macs here in the office (all were unused anyway).

So the loot I have totaled so far:

1 G4 Tower
2 500mhz iMacs
1 Powerbook G3
1 iBook (the fruity colored ones) w/ bad screen (but works otherwise)

(and I'm trying to get a widescreen 17" broken iBook (the nice metal cased ones))

What exactly can I do/put on these Macs anyway? (The only thing they have right now is OSX)
 
wow. Awesome score. I'd ask for one, but clearly that's going to be the theme of this thread.

So...what to do...no clue, but set them up anyway to impress your geek friends.

There's no 17" iBook, you'd be getting a PowerBook.
 
You can put Yellow Dog Linux on them, or sell the older ones and use the money to get some extra memory for the G4 tower and keep it as it is.
 
Pawn em... you could get some decent upgrades for them. FS/T is only a click away, as is eBay and a variety of other places.
