Now, I'm all for free speech and so on, but Green Day isn't exactly a family-friendly band. Would you take your seven year old kid to see them? How old would your kid have to be for you to let them see these guys perform?

That said, awesome concert and I highly recommend this tour for anyone who is remotely a Green Day fan. I never was much of one myself but went with a foreign friend who is obsessed with them and am very glad I did.

Stupid parents are the type to take them to a concert and tehn complain about indecency.

Really? That's strange, I thought that the last Green Day show I went to was 16+ only, no all ages. I really don't think that age Child should see Green Day (or any modern, non-orchestral) band live.

Funny, tonight at my friend's show when we were backstage setting up we were talking about Green Day and how their older stuff was so much better and now they're just mediocre.

My 11 year old and my 17 year old went... with their 29 year old aunt and my blessing.

I'd rather my kids listen to intelligent music than mindless crap... my 11 year old is a gifted young musician and has excellent taste, and she's the one who wanted to go the most. If she had been any younger, I probably wouldn't have let her go, but she was ready for the experience (which she admitted was somewhat overwhelming with the noise and crowd.). It meant a lot to her that we let her have the experience.

I'd like to take my girlfriend's nephew. They're his favorite band. He's only 9 though, so I don't know if it's going to work out.

How much were tickets?

No, because I wasn't seven years old in eighth grade.

After all the fees and such it was about $35 I believe.

Did the lead singer get naked like he usually does?

At Kiss last year they had some chicks from the front row topless on the big screen and a few parents were getting all p!ssed about it since 'children are here'.

It's rock and roll, it's supposed to offend some people.

punk even more so.

What is so inappropriate about green day that a 12 year old couldn't listen to it? A couple of swear words?

Later in life, when I do have children.... 15-16.

Even though I have been listening to Green Day since I was 7 (1994). Same thing with The Offspring... been listening to them since I was 7. I grew up listening to these bands... got to love living in Los Angeles and having KROQ.
