So I just gave my "two weeks" notice.

how do you plan on living without a job? student loans? also I second Vegas. I dont think id want to spend a week in the wilderness alone, maybe if you have some good friends that will go with that's possible.

Umm, if you look at my previous posts I've explained many times. Basically life at home with parents.

He still lives with his mom and dad...and has quite a bit tucked away in the bank.

Locut0s, I'm kind of surprised that you don't change to working part-time since you're only going to school part-time.

Yes I'm likely to do just this. But I'm tired of this job and need a change. I probably will not get a 2nd job right away. Will take a few weeks off first.

As somebody who has had some similar problems as you, but not nearly so severe, I highly recommend you keep your job and just do part time. You need to keep busy, idle time just wrecks you.

If you are planning on returning to school this will be the perfect time to learn a little bit of delayed gratification. You will need to put off your persuit of enjoyment and entertainment and practice investing time in persuits that can improve your life later.

I know, bummer. But you have to learn it sometime.

I need a change. The 2 hours commute both ways combined is getting rather tiring. It was fine in the beginning and I enjoy the people I work with but I'm kind of burned out. I'm fairly certain to get another part time job closer to home once I start school. I also plan on loosing a lot of weight.

Detroit is just like Vegas except that the lights are burned out. And the houses, and the cars, and the hookers. Pretty much everything flammable. What happens in Detroit, burns in Detroit.

Finish all your courses atleast this time around. There is no use changing your mind after enrolling into college.. and don't let alcohol dictate your life.

The alcohol I have to be careful of indeed. Been drinking a bottle or two on the weekends recently.

Maybe buff up on the material you're about to start taking? Read the first few chapters of each book you get or whatever.

I REALLY need to do this for math. It's been 4+ years since I last took a math course 300 level calculus course and linear algebra. I love math but I've forgotten so much!! For the breadth requirement courses, English and the like, not so much. I fucking suck at spelling but my literary skills have always been pretty good. And lower level college English courses don't really require that much true study.

Start sooner than later.

Every time I read one of your threads I get depressed man. You have a lot of money put away and stuff, financially you're in decent shape but fuck, PLEASE GET LAID. Lose weight later, I feel like you're more concerned about your weight because you want people to want to fuck you but I'm telling you just go fuck. It's not a big deal, your first time shouldn't and won't mean anything to you after your ejaculation it's all over hyped crapola. This is ultimately what is making you depressed and holding you back.

Lol, maybe. I think it's more likely that I'm... depressed... medically. It runs in the family. My father had a serious nervous break down in his 20s and has long been prone to emotional problems. My mothers side of the family has its own mental issues as well. Not that you don't have a point.

I have lost a lot of weight twice before though so it's not all wishing I know I can do it, I just need to be able to keep it off.

Shit man, I needed some more computer parts.

😀

Good for you though. Just remember to stick with it. No sense quitting something just because you have a rough week.

Yeah my depression hasn't done away but I think I've gotten mentally more mature over the years. If anything these years have been a good learning experience. Yeah that sounds tacky but you know what I mean.

And hay you still have till Aug 15th if you want to get something. I'll even give you our cost/employee prices since I don't give much of a shit at this point 😀

If I had no job and was planing to go back to school the last thing I'd do is spend some money on traveling or other unneeded expenses. But that's just me.

Is there a way you can keep the job and do night courses or something? Personally that's what I'd try to do, even if it takes longer. I'm sure you want to move out eventually. Once I was done college, I could not wait to move out and get a house, I just knew I could not afford it yet so I worked a few years while I lived at home and saved up.

I might get a different part time job while going to school. I'm done with this one though. Not that I hate it but I'm burned out and have no interest in it now.
