No Lifer
So I woke up at 7am this morning to beautiful California weather and decided to make my car the uber l33t car it deserves to be. If you're curious, this is what I did....

1. Wash with Meguiar's #62 Car Wash Shampoo/Conditioner
2. Apply Meguiar's #9 Swirl Mark Remover 2.0 on all parts of car using Porter Cable rotary buffer
3. Apply Meguiar's #7 Show Car Glaze to hood and trunk (time constraints)
4. Apply Meguiar's #26 Hi Tech Yellow on all parts of car
5. Apply Meguiar's Trim Detail to black trim
6. Apply Meguiar's Tire Endurance to (duh) tires
7. Final Inspection on all windows

And the results....

in case you forgot what kinda car it is 😉

supplies are fun

Looks great...I was thinking about getting Meguiar's all around but asked around and got Zaino instead 🙂. I'm thinking about doing it all this afternoon if the weather holds up...

BTW, how about some interior shots? 🙂

i haven't had time to do the interior yet, it's kinda clean but it isn't detailed if you knwo waht i mean

i was thinking about switching to zaino, but i realized how completely pointless their system is lol; when i have the time i'll buy some sealant glaze and put about 20 layers of that on my car, and we'll see who shines better 😉

Calm down do0d, I'm just kidding. I drive a 97' Nissan PU, and you know what? Me like 95k, and no probs, All I have replaced is tires, Oil, Belts, and SparkPlugs....oh yeah throw in a battery. Other than that drive it and forget it.

I'm not busting on your car, looks sweet. (Would be nice to have some chrome trim thought.....🙂 )

Man I wish I had a Prelude.... too bad they stopped producing them 🙁 The only good side to that is that they are replacing it with something else! 😀

What's that? Accord coupe?

BTW, if you want local zaino, go to lazaino.com

Nice job! There sure are lot's of stuff you use.

For my car, I usually just wash it and apply pro-gold wax. If the paint feels bumpy, I'll just use a clay bar to smooth it up, then wax it.

Meguirs is great stuff if ou plan on applying it monthly. You should check out Zaino.

yeah, except the place i work for works exclusively with meguiar's products, so most of those chemicals you see used i use for free 😉 'sides, i've been trained on how to specifically use meguiar's products 😀

Any recommendations on a clay bar?

I've always used Mother's clay bar. Works great.

clay magic brand clay bar is supposedly the best (9.99 or 14.99 at autozone)

the meguiar's guy preaches his product (as a good rep should), but i have yet to try it yet (even though i have to bars) cuz i just repainted my rear and i don't feel like claying if i can only clay parts of my car

funny how everyone's implying stock imports as rice.. the ATer's dog on the ricers' cars, while the ricers dog on the ATer's modded computers. 😀

why don't we all just get a long and talk about the best neon cathode for the car/computer? 😉

btw, whats good touchup paint for white rims and just for the body of the car?

As suggested by notfred, Mother's is good. I also like ClayMagic. After claying my car and applying wax periodically, the car stays silky smooth for quite a while.

Dealership should sell some...I got mine straight from Honda (though I have yet to use it)...$6 for a decent-sized vial of it...
