I scored 250 on the Wii version and I thought I was a pro. So i took it to the Bowling lanes (never bowled before). God it was fun, but sh1t, I couldnt bowl better than a 65. It made me feel better than 3 other people I was with scored +/- 5 of me, and only 2 others scored above 120.

Don't despair. My neighbor brought his wii over; we tossed the 5 practice tosses to pick up spares. Sum total of wii bowling experience.
The rest of the party arrives and we start a game. Wife starts tossing these high parabolic cratering rounds, strike strike strike spare first score 188! OK, flukish. Second score 232

I bowled a 300 using this simple method. Move three/four clicks to the right. Throw ball straight down the middle (no curve).

I consistently bowl over 200 now.
