for your software driver..it produces a better image than the ATI software (i have the same tv card)

also, there is a nifty program called
VeedubP4
which is a great video recording program

these programs are superior to the ATI software, and fully compatible with your card...

Great recommendation's :)

Oh wow! The picture is much better with DScaler, however, the UI isn't up to par with ATi's.

How come it doesn't work with my ATI All-in-Wonder Radeon.

I had the ATi TV Wonder Retail not the VE and I didn't like the picture quality so I got the Leadtek Deluxe XP from newegg and its great. The Asus TV card is suppose to be better but I dont want to buy another TV Card.

I don't know but here's a bump for ya. Dscaler is awesome, but its designed for the 848/878 chips which most tv cards have...I don't know what chip is on those cards tho.

get a hdtv card if you can afford ~200 dollars. cheapest hdtv solution out there, and the quality is amazing from what i've seen. you look at your normal tuners output and its pathetic compared:)

another neat trick with the ati tv tuner card you have is that it accepts video in from an outside source such as a VCR, or camcorder....

you can use the tv tuner card as a super cheap video capture device for sucking your analog video into your computer (hence the real utility of veedubp4 in my opinion)!

$20-$40 dollars (the price of the ati tv card depending on rebates) is the CHEAPEST video
capture device i've ever heard of!
