While it's true that, as they say, "the only solution to pollution is dilution", drinking water every day does nothing. THC, as someone pointed out, is in your fat. The only possible way to get rid of it it is through exercise or getting your body to burn it off by increasing your metabolism.
I also don't think you should put all your trust in a drink. The drink is b-complex (color) / creatinine (tested for to detect dillution) / water for the actual dilution (or sometimes something more diuretic.) You can accomplish the same thing by drinking water in the amount right for you, take B-complex supplements and eat red meat throughout the week prior. The red meat naturally increases creatinine while helping to increase natural metabolism -- that is, unless your diet usually consists of constant red meat. It works, and since you control the amount of what you take, it may be more reliable then buying a drink off the shelf.

Yes, but, "creatine", the body building supplement, is creatine monohydrate, which breaks down to creatine phosphate in your muscles. This breaks down into body-builder favorite adenosine triphosphate (ATP), but also creatinine -- so, I think saying "creatine" is a valid thing to do.
A few jobs ago - they decided to give random tests. I went in to my boss - told him I was going to fail if I took it, and if it was a huge issue, he could can me now and save the cost of the testing.

Since CR pretty much made you look like a douche, I'd just like to follow up with this happy thought. An artist may know a lot about painting because they do it quite frequently, but a pothead doesn't know everything about pot just because they smoke it all the time. Trusting a site called my.marijuana.com probably isn't the greatest choice for what really should be considered medical advice, not stoner tips.
My previous boss used to call me in once a month to tell me that there was not enough urine in my "water sample" and that I would have to retake the test......drinking lots of water immediately prior to the test was good for buying time (i.e. another week or so until the second test took place) but the bottom line was that their testing methods could easily indicate a person who was diluting their urine sample through drinking large amounts of water immediately prior to the test. Ultimately, this method was sucessful due to the shipping and processing time for the first sample which allowed my system to clear naturally over the week or so between the first test and the followup test, but the downside was that the testing company easily marked me as person who was "working the system" and my supposedly "random" test soon became a monthly test while other co-workers who were clean were only getting called to piss every 6-8 months.
I never got busted (probably due to the fact that for the most part I was only an occasional smoker) but they were definitely on to me. Drinking lots of water immediately before pissing may earn you a "clean" result but trust me, a repeatedly dilute urine sample can also expose you to more intense scrutiny from the lab. They claim to use a lottery to choose their supposedly random pick of testees, but my experience compared to my co-workers proved beyond a doubt that if they suspect someone of "gaming" the system, that the person will be "randomly chosen" at a rate far higher than reasonably possible if they were not influincing the results.
Bottom line: If they suspect you, rest assured, there will be nothing random about the draw.

If you puffed twice, it probably didn't saturate your system enough for the THC to have to enter your fat cells. Either way, most drug stores have drug tests now, so you could check on that.

True enough, but after a year of playing cat and mouse with the lab I became frustrated with the whole situation and quit to start a business producing metal art. I now proudly display a sign over my front door stating "This is a work free drug place" :Q

It was a such a great feeling when I hung that sign up and could appreciate that I'd finally released myself from the pressure to make choices other than my own. I'm not a regular smoker these days, but if I feel the urge, I do, and when I don't, it's nice to know that it was my own choice and not some coporate decision being forced down my throat.
IF you were drunk you probably pissed like a race horse and thus evacuates the majority of the THC from your system over the next 12 to 24 hours.
