Oh-ho-ho, that's what this is about? Chances are, she doesn't want you to see her as the above guys view most girls - using your interest in her as a meal ticket. She's independent enough to pay on her own, to show you that she's interested in you for you, not what she can get out of you.
Let her, at times, pay for you if she offers. For me, it helps keep things even, so I know the guy isn't trying to pay for me in order to make me feel obligated to "pay back" later, and it shows the guy that I'm not using him, and just stays fair all around.

I wasn't generalizing all white women, as you probably thought. He pointed out that perhaps it was because his gf is Asian and I was poiting out that I can't relate, because I've only ever dated white women. I think it's totally cool that you pay your own way.

I just can't believe such a woman exists. I've never had a woman offer to pay, even for their own half. Kinda annoying when you go out, they're going to get and then they as if you're paying. Once I tell them I am paying, their order suddenly changes to more expensive items. Weak!! Besides, it's not like I want your woman or anything.

Well, asians are a bit different I suppose.

Also, I've noticed that Asians are the only ones that would fight to pay the bill at the end of the meal. Not all of them... but if they fight for the bill, most of the time, they're Asians.

You've obviously not been to many family dinners out. I've been in near shouting matches with my parents and my fiancee's parents are the same way. I've seen my whole family fight over the check.
