...to take this girl to dinner, all out. Hmm, I might call her my "girlfriend" if it wasn't for the fact that that would be a very simplistic qualifier for a very complicated situation. So "this girl" shall remain the title.
Anyway, we played badminton for a few hours today (yes, it is a real sport! people play it!) and went to timmy's for three hours... ever sat in tim horton's for three hours? The staff begin to think you're weird. But the time flew by as we talked, of course. Before I leave for Waterloo (part of the reason that this is so complicated), she wants to go to dinner with me. We used to like to go to the race track (horse racing) but I'm going with some colleagues from work and we like to be alone. And there's only that one race left between now and when I leave. So dinner (on another night) it is.
The italian community in my city is full of awesome restaurants, so I've just got to pick one. Thanks to the fact that my mother has taken me to more or less all of them, that won't be difficult.
This is my real question: I'm going to end up going somewhere where dinner for the two of us will be $100-200 and she's going to want to pay. She's like that. She scammed me at timmy's today and tricked me out of paying. She does it all the time. My this-isnt-the-way-its-supposed-to-work sensor flares up.
I need a surefire way to make sure she doesn't even try to pay. Im not going to sit there and argue with her when the waiter comes with our bill, heh. Any ideas? I figure I could just make the meal so incredibly expensive that she wouldn't even think about paying, but then again that seems silly. There must be a better way.
