Wife's ex died this spring & we're settling the leftovers of the estate, seems like we have 8-10K Magic cards, any suggestions how to EBay them? All @ once or smaller #'s?

go through them and find all teh expensive ones. get an Inquest itll have a price guiee. sell them seperetly causedepending on what he has some could be worth 300$ or more then sell teh rest in lots.

Or

Go through and see if there are any compleat sets. the sets will sell fast if there compleat. and if you dont wanna deal with e bay find your local card shop. most likely the same as a comic shop if not they will know where one is and off load them there

sell them as a whole if you want to get rid of them quickly. Seperately if you want more cash.

How do you ID the valuable ones?

Any good web sites that lists what a complete set consists of?

try blackborder They have prices and set listings (I believe). You can also download set lists from wizards The market for Magic has kind of dropped off I'm afraid. I have a lot from when I used to play in college, and I'd like to sell them too, but I fear I would get pennies on the dollar compared to what I spent on them. If you have a decent collection, try collectmart, I know they buy entire collections.

yep, guess it depends on how much effort you're willing to put into it

you could do what everybody else is doing- find the most expensive ones (black lotuses, moxes, etc.), and maybe buy a buncha commons for like $10, and start sorting them all into "packs" of $3, and then sort them out randomly

just check out the MtG auctions on eBay and you'll see a few
