4 pages isn't a research paper. It's a damn hiccup is what it is. 4 pages should take you about 2-3 hours to write, TOPS.

It's a research paper, because it involves doing research (on your own) and then writing a paper. It's no thesis, but it's still a research paper.

Speaking of procrastination ... in my freshman biology class, one of our quarter projects was to keep an "observation" journal of some living organism and write a paper at the end. We had to write 20 observations over the course of about 2 months, and the paper only had to be about 2-3 pages just summing up what we learned.

I bought a notebook before school the day it was due. I wrote out all 20 observations during my math class, and wrote the paper in an architectural design class. Turned it in on time (I think it was 4th period), and I wound up getting a B+ on it.

That being said ... good luck getting your work done on time!
