So I had my Car Dynoed This Weekend.......

I had a chance to get my car dynoed this weekend and was pretty pleased with the results.....

Dyno Sheet Here

Max Horsepower During the Test was 216.3
Max Torqe During the Test was 280.3

Im pretty please with his considering that my Car is primarally stock, just have aftermarket exaust and a cold air intake.

This is the car that I had Dynoed Here


They took an Air/Fuel Ratio Reading and my car was running REALLY lean, so my car is starving for fuel, and I didnt have no way to adjust it so thats the first thing i'm going to do hopefully that will net me 5-10 more HP...


This isnt too bad IMO since my car came from the factory with 225 HP at the crank and mines putting 215 at the rear wheels with little/few upgrades.

I dont doubt it 🙂, But you got some pretties under your hood 😀, I know that my car is nowhere near being the fastest there is, or the fastest it can be.

Last time I dynoed it was like a year ago, but it made 276hp/315 torque back then.

Nice, Im hopeing to get above 300 by the time Im done, Which should be something Late this summer..... One of my friends that tested his Corvette got like 375, he has did quite a bit of work to it though. He helped a guy put an Overdrive pully on his stock 2003 Cobra and the cobra got almost 400 HP on the stock car with just an Overdrive pulley, pretty impressive, at least to me it was.

Yea, I think I like them better than the new ones because they look more like an old muscle car than the new ones. Im not into newer cars that much I like old muscle, but thats just me.

IDK about the engine problems but my Mom is talking about getting a Cobra next year..... :Q, She drives a Dodge Intrepid right now lol, Gonna be a BIG Power Jump for her lol
 
Ever use Desktop dyno 2000??? See how close it is to what you REALLY pulled??

The design I have now is mid 300 Ft/ilbs and around 255 Hp for a Checy 355, 9.5 to 1 and 750Carb.

Always like to see how close the computer is to life. Wit that said Desktop dyno is supposed to be very close.

yeah they are pretty powerful. My dad had one, traded it for a 97 corvette traded that for a Viper wich is sitting in his garage doing nothing. heh.
i did get to drive the viper a few times. that was just a little to much for me. :|

No they don't. I hven't heard of any problems w/ the cobra motor.

I forget the year I think it was 2001 the Cobra motor was not producing near the power that Ford claimed and they didn't produce any that year. They have since corrected the problem🙂 Although I went and looked at a Mach 1 and I LOVED the engine but damn that interior looks like it is out of a 80's car. poor plastic quality, visable screw holes just over all a really bad interior. Then I was reading that the new Mustand in 05 will still have a live rear axle for the first year. What is Ford thinking? I hope that will only be in the base model. If they put a live axle in the SVT I will not buy one. They may be grat for drag racing they kill you in the twisties.

 
I'm getting my Ram dyno'd next Saturday - although I already know I'm not gonna get a full pull without disconnecting the ABS fuse. Apparently the rev/speed limiter kicks in about 1000 RPM before the Hemi is making it's peak power. I'll post the sheet here as well if anyone's interested.
