I bought a ring about 2 weeks ago. They had to do some resizing and fit the stone on the setting, etc...so I had it shipped to my parents' house for Turkey Day. I talked to her father after Thanksgiving dinner and popped the question the next night. Funny story because her dad mentioned that we'd probably get married at lunch the day I proposed. She mentioned it that night in the car...I didn't want to ruin the surprise, so I said, "I don't think your dad even likes me..." That put her in a bad mood. We ended up going to 3 restaurants before we found one that she'd go in...I wanted to propose outside and had taken her to a park, but she said it was too cold to walk around. I was joking around about proposing like I've been doing for the last couple of weeks and then I got down and a knee and showed her the ring....she started crying when I asked her the question and said, "I'm such a b!tch... 🙁" It was pretty funny. 😛
