It was a gift like 2 years ago.

Thing is, it came with the wrong instruction booklet. It's a Citizen Eco-Drive Chronograph with four buttons around the outside. It's one of those watches with no battery, as it runs on light.

Well, it recently stopped for a little while today, so the time is wrong, and I don't know how to set it!!!

It's an older watch, so it's no longer on Citizen's website, and I had a falling out with the ex-gfriend that gave it to me so I ain't askin her how she initially set it.

The hell are my options?

Take it to a watch repair store if you have to, you can bet they have seen similar watches before.

Other than that, mash buttons randomly until it works. :)

Okay, this is complicated so pay attention.

1. PM me for my address and send your current watch to me.
2. Go to www.rolex.com and find a new watch for yourself
3. Quit bugging me while I try to figure out how to set my new free watch. :)

Edit:
Oh and in an effort to actually be helpful try here Citizen Forum

I have an Elgin PQS and damned if I didn't have to go back to the store 3 times to get the right friggin manual. Setting the watch is NOT intuitive.

I dunno if it's similar, but on my Elgin, you put it in "time" mode (as opposed to chrono or zero) and then you pull the crown out. Now if you hit one button (not the one with the crown), it zeroes the second hand and the other two buttons spin the hands forward/backwards.
Set time, push the crown back in, voila.

Other than that, how do you like the watch?

I have 3 Citizens, 2 Aqualand Models and a dress watch over 20 years old and never a problem with any. Caser finish is still excellent on all.

Have had trouble with their manuals being wrong also.
