And I'm not talking cigarettes either.

Anyway, when he needs money he always ends up selling his "toys" pretty cheap. He told me yesterday that he would sell me his 27" Sony Trinitron PIP TV for $100, his Harmon/Kardon AVR 40 reciever for $100, and his 12" DCM floor speakers for $100. I'm seriously thinking about going to the ATM today and taking out $300. Should I? Does anyone know if these components are good?

Sounds like a good deal.... how old is your friend?

Yeah! Then you can sell them back to him later for a profit when he comes back begging!!

He smokes weed, it's not like he's killing himself.

And they're right, you're not much of a friend if you're looking to get a deal off of him

If you actually do this, then you aren't much of a "friend".

Well that is true.. but if the "crazy friend" is going to sell the goods anyway, might as well be him.

Your friend is in need of help not money.

PM me his contact information, name, phone #, addy, picture of the tv, speakers....

Odd, my friend who smokes pot did this same exact thing. I would buy the parts, since you can hang onto them and when he realizes what he did, you can give them back to him for the same price you paid.

Yeah, at that price they're gonna sell wether you buy them or not, mine as well keep them so that if he figures out what he's doing you could sell them back.

Definitly not doing any harm by buying them though.
