So I got screwed on craigslist

I needed a desk so I looked for one on craigslist. When I tried to build it I found out that it wasn't possible without some more work. It was dumb and naive of me for not inspecting it closer but one of the screws is broken in half into the metal support and also rusted in. I dont think they gave me all the screws either. I got it for real cheap so I dont think its worth working on. I tried calling them already and they wont return my calls. I have two people's phone numbers and an address. What should I do?
