how about this. tell the guy to make the shipper that was supposed to pick up the stuff cash the cashiers check instead, and to pay you with cash upon arrival. :)

Here is what you do. Say that this is your first time selling something on the internet and you are weary of scammers. Ask him to send a picture with him holding a sign that reads "ATOT Owns". When he sends you that picture, tell him you're not quite sure its him and you think its photoshopped. Get him to put a bucket on his head and stand on one foot with a sign that reads "ATOT Owns". See if that is worth his time.

yeah, don't waste your time. CL used to be great. lots of scammers popping up the last couple of years, though. It still works, but I mostly get flakes and scammers these days.
