It takes about 20 minutes to rent a tux, and yo only need to reserve it like 1 day in advance. You've got plenty of time.

Now that you got that pressure off of you, you'll probably find the night much more enjoyable. Just relax, have a good dinner, dance for a while and then find a quiet place to hang out and talk. I went with a girl I knew but had never really talked to before and I had a great time, we ended up staying up and talking until the morning, catching an early breakfast at a diner (in our fancy clothes, got a few cat calls for that one) and all that. She pissed at me right now and won't talk to me but that's due to my stupidity during freshman year so that's another story...

Actually a bunch of girls I know are out to lose their virginity on prom night. And by a bunch I mean like 8. I know most of the guys and they have no clue whats going on.

Where is "here"?

Europe, we don't have a prom over here (at least not in Belgium)

To me the concept of a prom is "strange". It seems to me that it is a party but with a tux and your date has a nice dress and you have a limo and basically it seems to me that the guy looses a lot of money that evening .... (i'm just babbling, so correct me if I'm wrong).

It seems like a big deal for most teens in the USA.

I'm not kidding, can someone explain the whole thing a bit -- you have junior prom and senor prom and whatever prom.
