So i got a chance to hear the Velodyne MiniVee subwoofer in person...

I was at CC the other day and was hunting for this insanly deep and loud subwoofer I kept hearing from all over the store.

Walked into a demo are and was SHOCKED at where the sound was coming from...

8" Subwoofer in a TINY enclosure (it almost seemed unreal how powerful it was). I guess the built in 1000w amp helps

I've had clients install sunfires in their yachts and they are impressive considering the size. I (being an accomplished organist) was rather underwhelmed but I am accustomed to much more cone area from a system that can produce 130dB+ at 15Hz.

the sunfire amps are great. The 7 channel model with a tube front end for the lows and solid state for the high end is brilliant.
