I hate supercuts... I went there once to get my hair cut and vowed never to go to franchised haircut places for the following reasons:

1) It's expensive (somewhere between $10-$14 depending on where you live). It costed me $12 for a regular cut in Los angeles, plus $1 or $2 tip = $14
2) My haircutter did a #*&$#*$&#*$# poor job at cutting my hair.
3) My haircut was sloppily done.
4) No shampoo or gel (costs extra).

At my local haircut studio, it costs me $10 and that includes shampoo before and AFTER the haircut. The haircut is nice, and the people talk to you.

I had a haircut like that once 'cept here it's Ultracuts and it cost about $6. I spent 30mins trimming it after I got home. I always go to the same place now (Regis) every 5 or so weeks, service is good and usually book the same stylist to cut it, and yes wash, and style for about $18-20. Got an appt for tomorrow actually.
Army brushcut days I went to the old-style barber paid six bucks and got a buzz.

Interesting. I've been going to the same stylist for about 2 years at a local independent salon. Shampoo wash, cut, style, gel and blow-dry (if I want it) for $18. I like going to the same person every time.

the last time i went to supercuts a 300 lb black woman was hitting on me
She probably thought you were "Pretty Fly for a White Guy"

If you are at all particular about how your hair is cut why on earth would you go to a place like Supercuts?
Because Supercuts has the "Justin Timberlake" cut down!

I went to Great Clips my first time I needed a haircut after I moved to college. Didn't even cut anything, just barely trimmed it. I was like hmm... okay. Then today I went to a barbar shop. He cut it really short but did the straight edge razor around my neck and ears, that was cool...$12 + 3 tip = $15.

I get my hair cut done for free by a hairstylist, with the shampoo, cut, texturized, and gelled, and blow dryed :)

I kind of like Supercuts. Then again, I had a mullett for a lot of the nineties (if I wasn't looking for a job).

Yeah, chain places always suck. Go to independent places. The people actually have some talent there.

I have found that the older the barber (within reason, of course) the better the quality of the haircut. The blending, the line across the back...all sharp. The gentleman that cuts my hair is about 65 years old. He takes about 25 minutes...and it's perfect every time.

I like the old school barbers; the ones that use the shaving cream and the straight razor to do the back and around the ears. AFterwards, I go home and wash my hair/shower and baby, I look gooooood. *finger in the air - fsssssshhh! HOT!*

Oh, haircut is $6 and I always tip $2.
