I've been going to the same barber for 22 years. only got my hair cut by someone else 4 times. My grandfather had been going to him for just about as many years before he passed away. $11 hair cut, 2$ tip, extra dollar for holidays and another extra dollar if I ask him to take a little extra off the side when he's already done.

free hairspray, get, or wax. but no blowdry or wash.

he combs and styles until you're satisified.

only complaint is that he never cuts my sideburns even. always off slightly.

She shaves around the back and then soaks my hair with the spray bottle. Now, call me old fashioned if you will, but I've always liked to wear my hair in the gentlemen's look - parted down the side, bangs folded up and over, etc. So, I told her what I always tell any barber. She starts to cut. Five minutes later, she says, "There you go!"

Well that's not too bad, at least they didn't scalp you like Native Americans did!

:p

Thank God for Sandy.

I found her in a barber shop about a year ago. Cuts it perfect every time, washes my hair AFTER the cut so there's no little hairs all over the place, then gels and styles it, then I get a massage with the best damn electric massager I've ever had (ON MY BACK you pervs!).

All for $14 plus $5 tip. She's that good, I tip well :).

you need a old-fashion barber.

someone you can count on to cut your hair the same way every time.

those supercut places have way too much turn over.

I ask for a #2 shaver on the sides and fade the back. Part in the middle and take about 1" off everywhere... I keep it short.

$14 out the door at Supercuts... and they ALWAYS ask me if I want gel (free). I tell them no because I'm heading home to shower out the annoying bits poking at my neck anyway.

I never understood how people can just go about their day after a haircut.

If I can ever find that $3 place my brother goes to, I'm sure they can do just as well. Hell, you're not a female or anything, get it short and re-do the hair yourself.

I don't get how caucasians feel like they can get away with racist comment on this forum. You guys will be reported to the admin. Joking or not, it is offensive.

Those weren't racist remarks. I think you are taking "Politically Correct" to a new low. The only comment that might be construed as even being remotely racist is joemamma's comment about the black women being 3 times larger than he and your labeling Caucasians as racist . My comment had to do with joemamma describing himself as small, not being asian.

If I were like you I would be screaming about your racism. Thankfully I'm not (because if I were that would mean I was totally clueless and pathetic)
