Hooray me.

My roommate is a real retard. He spent 2 years in peru, came back, and didn't get any sort of medical check up. He has been going to school for about 1 year now. Finally, (and I don't know how really) the school realized that he hadn't had any sort of medical exam since his return from Peru. So the school put a hold on his registration, waiting for him to get a physical.

After going to the doctors office, turns out he tests positive for TB. The retard wasn't even going to mention it to any of us, the only way that I found out was I asked him "How did your exam go?". He didn't see why it was a big deal that he tested positive for TB.

Here's the kicker, he told us stories about how after he came home, he suffered from a pretty bad cough. He has also been constantly coughing most nights. He thought nothing of it.

So hurray, This is how TB gets spread in the US. Retards that don't realize it is highly contagious, and don't understand that 3rd world countries in tropical areas just might have contagious diseases not present in the US.

Who knows how many others this guy has infected for being a dumb ass.

Eww, I moved a lot of prisoners in the middle east, and quite a few had TB. We had to do 100% testing every 3 months, and a few guys came up positive. Yuck.

Wow is your roomate retarded

I remember this chick in our school got it when I was young (elementary school)

whole school had to get tested.

I tested negative but my brother tested positive (never had symptoms though) and he was on medication for 1-2 years I think.
