My building where I work is being demolished, so everyone is cleaning out their offices, etc. So far, I've found a nice laptop bag (with a mouse and phone cord inside), a hard shell briefcase, and now one of these https://www1.fishersci.com/Cou...d=204266&details=Y.
Mine seems to be older than the one in the pic, as it has a few more buttons on it and only 6 different programs that you can set - although it is the same model number. Plus, I found a very corroded battery inside of it that was supposed to be thrown out in 1997 :Q.
So, I opened it up, cleaned out LOTS of corrosion, replaced the battery, and now it works perfectly
. Anyways, are there any other uses for this thing other than being able to set my lights to go on/off 6 times a day? There's a huge relay inside of it that looks like it can handle quite a large current, so it can't be just a stupid light timer. Plus, the website says this thing retails for almost $100, so it must have some sort of fancy purpose
.
Thoughts?
Edit - I suck at teh linking
Edit 2 - The damn link won't work :| Fixed now.
