Overall, not bad.

not great but not bad. Better than Dominos or Pizza Hut but no where near as good as my local pizza shop.

Crust was good. Sauce tasted like frozen pizza sauce, cheese and toppings were ok.

it's the sauce that will always give frozen pizza away.

still, it was pretty good.

The best frozen pizza, IMHO, is the Freschetta sauce stuffed crust. It's nice and spicy, the pepperoni and cheese are perfect, and the crust is the only thing that lacks compared to a real pizza but it is still pretty good for frozen.

the square ones are better than the regular digiorno, though the cheese stuffed crust are very good as well.

i had the spinach and mushroom.

the cheese stuffed looked too cheesy for me and i didn't see the square one. will have to make a point to look for that one next time.

holy crap....when I saw this thread that's EXACTLY what I was going to say. The Freshetta sauce stuffed is THE BEST frozen pizza you can get. Sometimes Safeway will have them like 2 for $8.

Our Albertsons consistantly has them for 3/$10. :D

Why would anyone spend money on a frozen pizza when they can have the take-out one for almost the same price? (sometimes even the same price)

I'm not a big fan of frozen pizza. I either make it home made or i get take out.

I've tried DiGiorno's a couple of times. In my opinion it doesn't beat the Freschetta. I think the Freschetta sauce and crust combination is what does it. Their sauce is kind of spicey compared to most other fozen pizzas and there crust isn't so thick and/or heavy like Digiorno.

Yeah, near me the best pizza is Baci's Italian Bistro but it's so damned expensive. The next best is Barro's and it's pretty good. Yep. However, frozen is far less expensive.

I have but not for a long time. I never buy them, too expensive. Never had the square one, but the one I had was pretty good IIRC, still nothing to write home about, or pay $6+ for.

Not where I live. I can go to a franchise out here and buy a 2 pizzas for $12 . Where I am the frozen pizza for a "medium/large" is like $10 and you only get one.

i just had a freschetta and it's not nearly as good, to me anyway, as the digiorno's pizza's.

Either depending on mood. They are about the best unless you have a local like Tonys in Kc.

I'm glad to see that you guys like the Freschetta. I sell it for a living. Its made by the same people as Red Baron and Tony's pizza. We have a new product out, and I dont know if its available in all markets yet, but its called Freschetta Brick Oven Pizza. I saw that someone mentioned the square pizza above and this is what the Brick oven is. Very tasty and it comes in several flavors: 3 Cheese Bacon, 5 Cheese, Pepperoni, Supreme, Spinach Mushroom and Southwest Chicken.

Personally I am burned out on just about any frozen pizza. After 8 years of eating this stuff, it gets kinda old. But I do like the newer items we've come out with in the past few years. Not like I''m going to eat them any time soon though. ;>)

Peace
