So I ended up voting anyway...

The polls close here in my part of Boston at 8....I have sworn for the last 2 months that I didn't like either candidate and the issues to vote on in my area I didn't care about....But I always feel bad when I don't vote, and in the end I headed over to my polling station. Considering how vehement I was about not voting previously, I actually had to go through a bit to vote. They didn't get my registration for some reason, I had mailed my change of address in before the deadline, it should've got there, but they didn't have me at my current address. So I had to fill out a provisional ballot, explain what happened, AND fill out another voter registration in addition to my ballot. I feel oddly satisfied.

You honestly didn't believe the repeal of the State's Income Tax was an important issue to vote on?

also, i now get how you have an average of 10 posts per day; by using ATOT as your blog

So you decided to vote even though you didn't like either candidate? 😕

Explains a significant part of a country's history.

There was NO chance that would pass, although that is more of an excuse I was using than anything. I just get so sick of the presidential campaigns leading up to Nov. 4th that I get jaded on voting period. I'm glad I voted though.

I thought registration had an end date meaning if you didn't get it in by a certain date you can't vote, period. Was yours a special case or could I have done that?

If only there were more than 2 candidates and a bunch of other things to vote on...

Eh, the process makes you feel like an American even if you live in NY, land of the Democrats, so your vote really didn't do a damn thing. 😛
