But, but, but, but....we were friends!! :'(

Tell them to put down the laptop and open the front door. They will find new friends.

This has happened to me. I add them again, and defriend them right after. This way they get a 'xxx has accepted your friend request' notification. Then they click on your name, hoping to get access to all your pics and crap...but they get a limited profile again.

Y U MAD BRO?

If a person's stupid enough to use FB you shouldn't be surprised they're stupid enough to send another friends request when you remove them. I'm convinced 95% of the people on there would keep their account active if a huge disclaimer came up next time they logged on that said "click OK to keep your account active, but Mark Zukerberg will come to your house and anally rape you tonight. Click NO and your account will be inactive and you won't get anally raped tonight."

They probably didn't realize they were once friends with you on facebook. Don't overestimate your importance.

The better question is why you are going through and defriending people - it sounds like you must have defriended a lot, because for a "few" to request you again would mean that they had to have noticed you missing. The odds of them noticing so suddenly are pretty slim, unless you still show up as one of those "People you may know" items, but even with rough estimates of how many may have seen you there, even fewer look at that and use it (it's on the right side of the page, not too far above the ads, and we read left to right, so it has less importance than other things on the page), and so I'm guessing you defriended a decent number of people.

WTF does it matter how many people he defriended? I defriend people frequently to keep my friends list within my target of 20 core friends. Unlike many narcissists I don't feel the need to "friend" that guy I met at the party one time who I think went to my school in the year before me.

Which they will still fail to comprehend.

Anyway, FB is just as intelligent as your group of friends on it, not an I.Q. point more. If you keep finding retarded crap on your page that's cause you have dumb friends. You're friends with them why again?
