So I bought this...I think I got a good deal

First thing I did was move the joysticks, he had them all wrong. I also upped the ram from 512 to 1.5gb. I am wondering if the Pentium D 3ghz processor is good enough or if I should get a different computer all together. I think I did alright for 150

IMHO u did fine. The possibilities for this project are nearly endless. How well (quality-wise) is the construction of the cabinet? Is it make of particle board?

I assume that up to 4 players sit on one side of the cabinet with a TV on the other. What are those extra buttons on the opposite side of where the players would sit?

As for the PC I would think that CPU would play just about any vintage arcade-type game with ease. What type of vid card (if any) does it have?

You did great, the construction and setup of the arcade controllers is worth it alone, there's a guy here who makes them here and it's just a square box with one joystick and 8-10 buttons and he sells them for around 45 bucks a pop, a setup like that would run a couple of hundred for parts and labor

The top half is 3/4 mdf. The bottom is 3/4 mdf on top and bottom and 2x4 all the war around it. Its really heavy at the base so I might redo that portion. its interface is an ipac4 which is 100 bucks by itself

Wondering what do you play with 4 players? Aside from Gauntlet suggested above.

How do the joysticks interface to the PC? Is this by USB?

You got a very good deal, too bad I couldn't snatch it up before you 😛.

Its a great item too, I hope you enjoy using it.
