I decided to treat myself after getting As on all my finals this week, so I stopped by Walmart after my last course to pick up a few things. Milk, some cereal, etc. I was actually looking for some apple turnovers from the bakery, but there were out. They did, however, have a good deal on holiday sugar cookies. I knew they weren't even remotely healthy when I bought them, but I really should have read the label before I bought them.

There's 180 calories per serving. Serving size = 1 cookie, 10 cookies per pack. Even eating half the pack racks up 900 calories.

Any decent sized cookie is 200 cal+. I have eaten 5 of those icing-covered cookies from walmart at a sitting. They are awesome.

What did you really expect from something that has the primary ingredients of:

Flour
Butter
Sugar

?

But that's why they taste so freaking good.

Pastry and baked type stuff is usually all you need to get nice and plump... but it all tastes so good.

good alternative that i've found are the protein bars that are shaped like cookies. I can't for the life of me remember who they are made by but damn they are good.

I'd probably be 10 pounds lighter if I could stop eating pastries. :p

Mmm... donuts...

Don't get down on yourself. Cheat meals, or cheat days, are allowed....just don't make every meal or every day a cheat meal/day :) Now if you'll kindly excuse me, I'm going to go drink a twelver of beer.
