Look, I admit I don't know Jareds as they are not in my area, but in general chain stores have higher prices. Maybe you got a good deal but you will have to post the specs in order for anyone to know. Hopefully, it has a GIA cert.

Either way, it does not really matter. You've got more important things to prepare for now. I'm sure your soon-to-be fiance will love it. Hopefully she can overlook your anger issues .

After reading it, it seems most people that responded to the original thread take the sort of principled stand against engagement rings that only comes from guys that dont stand a chance of ever getting married, or are too poor to buy a decent engagement ring. It's true there is a lot of fluff in that thread but that is usually the case on this site. I guess I'm good at filtering that stuff out. If you do, there was some decent advice given.

I already stated it's not a fair comparison for girls and guys - we have a lot more to enjoy as far as fun stuff goes. The good stuff you get a chance to buy them - well, it's apparent you'd be selfish about that too. I'm sure your gf loves how thoughtful you are.

I'm not saying everyone should go for the 1.0ct - I only said I would do it in that situation since he gave a budget and was so close. Then you had to come along and tell everyone what love really means. Yeah, you're a perfect candidate.

I've never been asked about my ring specs. To be honest after we got married I barely wear it. I only wear my wedding band.
