I had a Glock 22 .40 a few years back. I loved everything about it except on thing--the way it felt in my hand. I hate the feel of plastic(or Glocks are made of).

Nice gun.

Nice weapon. I have a Glock 22 .40cal myself. Love it.

That was my first pistol, and remains my full size when I need a duty sidearm. Absolutely the best gun I've ever fired.

I don't like glock for concealed carry though, so I went to a Taurus Millenium PT140 (newest version), which is now firmly entrenched in second place for me.

Prince, I just use the Glock for the home. I use an H&K USPCompact .45 for concealed carry, love the thing. Just the right size and, in my opinion, can't beat the reliability.

I tried a Glock 19C 9mm a number of years ago at a range. I don't whether it was the fact that it was a rental, or a 9mm or compensated, but I got more stovepipes than I care to remember.

My Sig P226 .40 on the other hand has been flawless. The only handgun I've tried that has been more accurate and silky smooth was a Kimber .45 that a friend let me try. That's definitely my next handgun.

I didn't realize ThermalTake made guns.
Hahahaha!

All you guys dogging Glock obviously haven't fired one. They are so light and smooth.
As far as I'm concerned, being lightweight is not something positive about a handgun. I prefer some heft to it.

Nice gun. Take care of it, and it should last you a lifetime. :)

Oh, and go to ebay and get yourself one of those plugs to fill the hole behind the magazine bottom. Can't remember what it's called, too lazy to go look, but if you search there for glock plug, I'm sure you'll find 'em. They're only a couple bucks, and it keeps a bunch of crap from getting into that empty space in the handgrip. :D

Want to volunteer to take a Federal 9mm HydraShok from my Ruger? ;)

It's scary what that round can do. Shot it through a 5 inch book, and lots of confetti blew out the back.

LOL

or one of the Winchester Ranger 127gr +P+ JHPs that reside in my Ruger's mag?

This is what I use in my kimber:D

Awesome -- love that name! I've heard good things about Corbon, but I've never shot it. Might have to try it out next year. I have about 500 rounds right now and am not planning on shooting until next summer.

Of course, I'm hoping to fire some automatic weapons in Baghdad in the meantime. ;)
