Is this your first-time equipment?

I'm waiting to get out of college before I learn the electric guitar and the piano. :p Though, I plan to drop maybe $500 on the guitar and amp since I'm completely oblivious to playing a guitar...

Anyways, it looks great from my novice eyes.

Good luck and enjoy. It's fun, especially if you have a natural knack for it. You can really blow through $10k or more fast on guitar gear, though, so be careful. I've played for 10 years, but recently stepped back from it a lot and now I'm learning drums. I wish I'd done it years ago, it's my natural instrument.

Yeah, I know how that is.

I have 2 acoustics, 1 mandolin, and now this electric and an amp.

I also have the preamp setup, and later on I am looking to get a soprano and tenor uke.

I wish I had learned the piano though. :( sucks.

I love how Seymour Duncan can call it's pickups '59 reissues when they weren't even founded until 1978 :)
