It came from Walmart... PWNED..

Seriously, don't buy groceries from that company. I'm a right-winger libertarian and all that.. but Walmart seriously shouldn't be allowed to sell groceries, imo. All they do is reduce food quality across the board by prompting reputable grocery stores such as Albertsons and Publix into selling cheap bakery sh!t, vegetables too ripe for consumption, milk with 2 days until expiration, etc..

I'm starting to hate Walmart more and more. It pisses me off that no company can survive without supplying to Walmart and submitting to a price-beating. Ya, Walmart has low prices - but at what other costs to the consumer?

In my experience, the only difference between Albertson's and Wal-mart is that Albertson's has higher prices. Nothing is of any higher quality at any of the Albertson's I've ever been to. Same with Baker's, Kroger, King Sooper, etc.

Actually some stuff that LOOKS the same is not. Wal-Mart drives prices down so low that soem makers make items JUST for wal-mart. I think? black and decker was one that used lower end parts in the wal-Mart tools. But I do know the bakery at the wal-marts I ahve been at are no where near as nice as most others.

This city has only had a Wal-Mart for about four years, so I shopped at other places beforehand, and can definitely say that as far as grocery stuff goes, the quality at all was equivalent.

i agree. i have shoped wal-mart and others and never noticed a difrence in quality. well not on groceries.

I wouldnt buy there electronics unless it was a PS/Xbox game or such. Now way would i buy a TV from them.

Though i did buy a VCR and a Cd player from them. the VCR is 12 years old and still works and the CD player is 13 years old and still working great.

I haven't bought anything from Walmart in over 2 years, due to their labor and buying practices. I'm lucky enough to live near an urban center and have choices. I don't choose Walmart.

PS

Dingo ate your cake slice.

You unamerican commie! </irony>

Probably just quality control. They have to taste some cakes to make sure they taste OK. You should be very happy in knowing that they tasted yours and it must have passed or they would have taken it off the shelf.

No, this one has a nice big slice missing.

What kind of friends/parents/whatever gives someone a cake from walmart on their birthday? That sounds like you're being punished or something.

I bought it for me, when the rest of the family was out of town.
