So, I booked my airport flight online

Just my identification (driver's license) and the confirmation printout. Is that all? I just want to confirm.

Just your driver's license. I've never even had them ask to see the printout, but I figure it's worth brining all the same.

Your driver's license is all you need. Having the confirmation number wouldn't hurt to have, as insurance.

Depends on who you booked with, I use NWA (Northwest Airlines) and they usually request the credit card I used to make the online reservation with.

baggage plus necessities (ie: toothbrush, comb, deodorant) would help also. unless you plan to either stink it up for a few days or buy that stuff at the airport gift shop. 😛

A lot of airlines have those kiosks where you can insert your credit card and get a print out of your boarding pass. I'd have the same card on hand when you go just to make sure. Some airlines even let you print out your boarding pass from home if it's less than 24 hours from your departure time. If you do that all you will need is ID to get through security.

how would that work tho?

would you just have a piece of paper, instead of the normal paper with a magnetic stripe, and they let you through?

yes it's just a piece of paper with a bar code.

one airport reqired two forms of id. I'm assuming you're a student (since your mom bought you a plane ticket, i could be wrong) so that shouldn't be a problem. I've only had trouble with it once.

I fly American, all they ask for is my ID and i bring the paper to make the life of the individual bringing up my pass just slightly easier.

So, you didn't actually *READ* any of the information given to you on the website about booking online and what you'll be required to bring with you, did you...
