So I am watching Fox News' coverage of the Inauguration....

and the dude just said "at that time he will be President, IF he's sworn in..." and then a guy in the back snickers like 5 seconds later....uhhh wtf? isn't it WHEN he's sworn in

None of their reporters in the mall have Fox plackards on thier mics...

thought it was telling. At least they covered the Obamas arriving at the breakfast.

That was awesome when GWB grabbed Michelle Obamas hand and led her in the white house. You didn't get that on CNN. they were talking about Hollywood types at the inaguration. who cares!

Actually 6/10. Those idiots just can't let go. Can't they drop their bullshit for at least one day??

I believe some of the loonies here have predicted Bush would try to stay on as President.. so I suppose he could put a shank in Obama and eat his still beating heart on a Fox News exclusive.

The guys is probably reading a prompter or maybe he made a mistake or something the other guy laughed at. no points for no video

Captain obvious! 1/10 🙂 And CBS/NBC/ABC/CNN/HNN/MSLSD/and 95% of print media will give him a pass.

What is your point? That they are Biased...? name me one media outlet that isn't that I've heard of.

And by the end of the day the economy will magically recover according to the other news outlets.

What else is new?

At least none of the networks did anything so overt like calling Bush a moron.

I think I'm going to switch to FN as my default cable news channel now that Obama's in power... I'd rather watch something overly critical towards the establishment and make my own judgments than watch something that's sycophantic to those in power.

I'm generally the same way, but even I cannot watch what FOX passes for news. Too much corporate influence/agenda inserted for my tastes. They really raise the bar for journalism, only to limbo right under it. Even the Onion is better than those guys.

And Chris Matthews and Oberman on MSNBC are not biased. Matthews already came out of the Obama closet weeks ago stating he'd do anything to ensure a successful Obama presidency.... and he calls himself a journalist???

Like hell they aren't! We all know that they are partisan hacks. However, if you look at the sum of their respective networks' coverage, it pales in comparison to the crap FOX puts out. Honestly I wouldn't blame you for not watching CNN or MSNBC, but going to FOX is a huge step (ok, many many huge steps) backward.

I doubt that.

Gee you think?

Haha don't roll your eyes at me. There are many that actually believe it.

Olberman was probably touching himself during Obama's speech.

I'm just going to watch C-Span as much as I can and get the news straight from the source.

I was listening to rush on the radio at the start of the poem when he said, "Where's Puff Daddy"?

😉

The mocking of the poet when she was talking about dead soldiers was a bit much though.

🙁

Wouldn't a successful presidency for Obama be good for the country?? I also wanted a successful presidency for Bush (or at least a non-eventful one).

CNN/FOX/MSNBC are all garbage really when it comes to actual news. If you want to be informed, try out NPR or the BBC.

I think in fairness, Matthews has quite obviously been an 'editorialist-type'. He gives his opinions and analysis. That's not the same as being an objective journalist giving just the 'news'.

Seems not many people wanna be journalist any more. Seems to me the 'celebrity' ego craze overtook journalism some time ago. The all now think they are the 'news' and their opinions are of paramount importance etc
