So I am sitting here reading my Shoe Manual

At first site, these things look a LOT better than in the pictures. The material has a "suade" thing going on and looks rather nice.

Touching the shoe for the first time is a letdown though. Although they feel solid and VERY VERY VERY VERY light, they seem to be pool socks (I think that is what those pool shoes are called).

Once I tried them on, the story was different yet again. They are REALLY comfortable and your foots range of motion is simply killer for a shoe. I don't feel contrsrited or restricted or prohibited at all;)

As for the manual, it says I need to wear them around the house for about two days before I use them.

So far they feel great and hopefully when I start running with them I won't have any quams concerning my purchase, lest an evil acorn get in my way;).

EDIT: coming later will be pics of my sexy sexy feet:cool:

Mine lasted 5 days before complete failure. I just swapped them out about an hour ago at Finish Line.

lo....really...fcvk

I was wearing them playing Frisbee yesterday, and I made a hard stop with my foot sideways. You've probably noticed that they're not really shaped to your foot, so there's so much lateral force that my foot slides across the sole of the shoe, pushing hard against the outside. It ripped through not only the aqua sock part, but also the felt part. Those little slits in the felt part acted like fvckin perforations for tearing.

I swapped them out for another pair no questions asked. Thinking about getting the Free Trainer 5.0s instead though. They seem more solidly constructed.

Well, I guess these are the ones I got but that pic is horrible..they look a LOT better.

Now that I have had a chance to reflect, I did indeed purchase the ones that I thought "looked liek sh!t" but thye were for running so I didn't care...

People who buy nike's need directions on how to wear em. Thats what happens when you spend your whole life wrapping your feet in newspaper and duct tape. ;)

OH, I guess I have no room to talk. The tag fell off my nike ballcap and I still cant figure out how to put it on.

Nebor, the reason your Free's/Trainers fell apart is because the shoes are not meant for quick turns or stop and go's that are needed in sports like Soccer, Football, or Frisbee in your case. They are strictly meant for light running and to aid in training. Its all the manual man. Have fun with the shoes Goose!

Its obvious that the Free's needed manuals b/c people are wearing them, and using them in circumstances where they are not adequate.
