Yes they should be tied into the red light photo system so each activation is logged and the license plate photographed along with the driver.

HINT: There is no such thing as "secure IR". Yes they can make the signals more complicated with serial numbers and all. Ever heard of a learning remote? They can learn pretty well and yet again the more secure system is cracked again. Bwahahaha sounds too familiar doesn't it?
