So I accidentally put a 2 1/2 inch minor scratch on my LCD screen. Anyway to FIX IT?

So, I was putting some newly bought ram into my box, the ram has some compatibility issues with nforce2 mobos, so I take it out. I then proceed seal the side panel for the box, but in the process, I accidentally scratch my LCD screen with the side panel. It's a very small scratch but very noticable, especially in bright color scenarios. Anyway to fix it? My beloved screen is not scarred by me. 🙁

bTW, it's one of those dell 20.1 wide screen lcd's. only had it for 3 weeks and look what i've done to my baby. I'm an abuser and I want to repent! Please help me help it.

You might want to carefully contact Dell and inquire if they can locate you a new film for the front of the LCD. Possibly, it can be detached and easily replaced. Just a long shot ... but, thought it might be worth a try.

Those disc doctors use to repair cds by filling the scratches with some kinda of material. Maybe you could spread some kind of transparent material over it to fill it up? Will require skill though I think.

🙁
Sad day indeed. But on a positve note I got the job that I interviewed for at ipowerweb.com... err..
My poor screen... it is scarred for life.
