I've had to buy groceries on $5.17 (yes, I remember the number explicitly). It was all the money I had in the world. A loaf of bread and some "cheese". I had "cheese" sandwiches every meal for about 5 days.

Oh, and we couldn't pay the water or electricity bill, so we didn't have water or electricity.

and we had to walk to school, in 6 feet of snow, uphill both ways, and use a fountain pen...but the ink was frozen, so we scratched our notes into a stone tablet...

You can't control anything in your life, why would your diet be any different? You're probably thinking of killing yourself but can't pick a method.

So you're a whiny, picky little brat who doesn't like most food? Fuck off. Spend some time in a 3rd world country to get some perspective before you complain how 'bad' you have it.

I am not people in a 3rd world country. Why should I care what they have to do? They live their lives differently so their perspective is completely different.

A sugar fest is when you eat Froot Loops with JOLT Cola on them instead of milk, because someone left the milk in the entryway of the cabin on the first night of the camping trip and it froze solid because it was -65F outside.

Not really, your both whiny brats expecting the world to give them everything and not willing to work at it for yourself :)

Oh wait, that's just you.

You live with your parents and are complaining about free food?

Grow the fuck up, get a job and buy your own damn food if you're going to be so ungrateful to your parents.

Nope, sober and drinking my coffee. :)

Buy your own groceries? At 18 you should be living on your own with a job or in school with a part time job.

Tell me how many people actually do that now. How many actually live in a big city, (160K+ with a 600K next to it) and live on their own with a full time job? How many... I suspect the number is very little. Especially at 18. Some kids are still in high school at my age. I knew plenty of kids who were 10 months older than me, and still living with their parents...

I and all my friends moved out at 18-19 living in a city of 540k. Get a room in a house and become independent and stop being a leech. Hell, I've been working since I was 12 (my longest *unemployment* streak being two months.). Maybe you should try to actually become a man and contribute to society instead of being a leech on society and your parents. I know this might be a hard concept to grasp with how selfish you are and how needy you seem to be, but it will probably help you in the end.

If you tried to be social and actually have friends and a life you would see 18-19 year olds all over going to the military, moving away from home for school, traveling the world. And you, you are sitting at home on your parents dime bitching about your life and all boo fucking hoo I have to eat free fruitloops wahh.

Pathetic.

You're fucking kidding right? Too much sugar? Unless you ate the whole box in one sitting there is not that much fucking sugar in Fruit Loops.

Go to walmart while hungry. You'll end up spending like 200 bucks, but you will have plenty of food for a while. I live with my parents but I often go buy my own stuff as far as snack food goes, but usually eat whatever meals my mom makes, though with my late shift I'm rarely home for supper now. I have to cut down on the fast food though... I'm getting better but still have to cut it down more. Real bad for me.

But yeah, just learn to fend for yourself and get your own food if there's nothing in the house. Just don't become a junk food whore, there's plenty of healthy snacks such as nuts, crackers etc. But if you're hungry for a meal then have an actual meal. I'm sure there's got to be some Michelina's and other stuff like that in the freezer, or left overs.

Fruit loops really aren't all that sugary anymore, at least not enough to give you a stomachache. Try Smarties Cereal, it will beat any General Mills crap as far as sugar content, afterall, it is only Smarties in a bowl with milk.

Oh, and get a job, ya damn dirty hippie! :p

I just realized how it's been so long since I've ate cereal in general. I remember ADDING sugar to mine all the time. Frosted flakes, with like 20 spoons of sugar. OMG. I'm actually craving that right about now, but I have to try it with fruit loops.
